Yes. The first half-hour consult is free — a virtual meeting to talk through your project, your goals, and the support that would help most. If you'd like to keep meeting after that, follow-up sessions are $30 each.

How much will editing my manuscript cost?

Manuscript services are priced per word, so your total depends on length. For an 80,000-word novel: a Proof is $800 ($0.01/word), Format is $1,200 ($0.015/word), an Analysis is $1,600 ($0.02/word), and a full Edit is $2,000 ($0.025/word).

What is the difference between an Analysis and an Edit?

An Analysis is a comprehensive review delivered as a separate written report — your manuscript itself comes back untouched. An Edit works inside the manuscript: it is returned with tracked changes plus suggestions for phrasing, flow, and story or concept elements.

What is the difference between a Proof and an Edit?

A Proof is a grammar and mechanics review only. An Edit is comprehensive — it addresses phrasing, flow, and story or concept elements alongside the mechanics.

Will my manuscript come back with the changes marked?

Yes, for Proof, Format, and Edit — all three are returned with tracked changes, so you can see and accept or reject every suggestion. Analysis is the exception: it arrives as a written report, and no changes are made to the manuscript itself.
